Rifleman
THE BASELINE STANDARD
The Rifleman is an expert on his weapons system, placing well aimed fire on the enemy, and providing the squad with AT capability.
Grenadier
EXPLOSIVES EXPERT
The Grenadier provides the fire team with a high trajectory and an HE capability for suppressing and destroying enemy positions. He can also provide obscurants to screen and cover his squad’s fire and movement; and employ illumination rounds to increase his squad’s visibility and mark enemy positions.
Auto Rifleman
SUPRESSION SPECIALIST
The Automatic Rifleman provides the unit with a high volume of sustained suppressive direct fires of area targets. He employs his weapon system to suppress enemy Infantry and bunkers, destroy enemy automatic rifle and AT teams, and enable the movement of other teams and squads.
OTHER WAYS TO SERVE
ARMOR
S.A.F utilizes the M113 as a personnel carrier. The BRDM is an armored personnel carrier (APC) and the BMP is an infantry fighting vehicle (IFV). All three require a team to operate and the latter two are amphibious.
AVIATION
Experienced pilots are needed to transport soldiers and equipment to and from the battlefield. They also administer effective close air support to neutralize the enemy.
MEDICAL
Medics provide emergency medical treatment, primary care, respond to mass casualty events, and aid in medical evacuation procedures. Medics administer emergency and routine medical treatment to battle and non-battle casualties.
SUPPORT
